"I arrived at the Oving medical clinic in a real state . It was late on a Friday afternoon, I was in so much pain, I was distressed and so was my husband because the NHS couldn’t provide immediate treatment! The secretary manning reception was so kind and empathetic and she asked the doctor if he could possibly squeeze me in at the end of his surgery! To which he, very kindly, agreed. He was thorough, kind and assessed and treated my sore shoulder within the hour, making his day an extra hour longer! I felt , relieved, grateful and could go home knowing I was in good hands! The service we received was out of this world! At a time when we really needed professional help and empathy the Oving medical clinic went well and truly above and we will recommend them , very highly , and already have! Thank you !"

"Fantastic experience at Oving Medical Clinic, I was seen the same day and greeted by very friendly reception staff - a completely different experience to most NHS practices. I saw a wonderful doctor called Greg who took the time to listen to me and was very friendly along with a lovely nurse who did blood tests. I will definitely be going back in the future should I need to see a GP or have any tests, they seem to have lots of extra services here too and some of the doctors are specialists in other areas which I think is very useful (dermatology, ENT etc). I thought the prices were very good and I was impressed at how well-priced the blood tests were too (much cheaper than we pay for the dog at the vets!). Worth every penny especially knowing they check you out properly and can do many tests there and then, so you save on multiple trips usually required with an NHS practice and hours on the phone trying to get an appointment that is usually too far in advance anyway. Highly recommend, especially if you really need to see a doctor or feel you need a blood test and don't want to have 3 appointments to get one. They also have a monthly subscription service that allows you a certain number of appointments each year depending on the package you pick, which I will be taking up should I need another appointment any time soon!"

"I had suffered with constant pain in the top of both legs for around two years. This pain severely restricted my work life and well being. Seeing a couple of gps and an nhs physio resulted in incorrect diagnosis, along with more pain and huge frustration. I happened upon on the Oving Clinic and Dr Tanner, online and had my first consultation just post lockdown. Going on my description of the pain, he explained that he suspected a spinal disc causing referred pain. Very quick referral for a MRI scan at Guildford hospital which confirmed slight damage to lower lumber disc, which caused pain through a nerve close by, resulting in my upper leg pain. Dr Tanner prescribed Amytriptilan which in small doses can reduce/cut this pain pathway. He warned me that success may be around 80%, but luckily for me it was 100%, and I am now back to all normal activities. This is not a NHS service, but I believe that it was worth every penny, having been passed from pillar to post in the NHS system with no one having any idea what the problem was, nor interest in solving it. I might add that I am not on a high income, and do not consider the fees at The Oving Clinic extortionate in any way. Thank you all at The Oving Clinic, I would recommend unreservedly ."

After Dr Tanner examined me he suggested a caudal steroid injection to which I accepted.
